There is no question that a Geothermal Energy System is more fuel efficient than any other heating/cooling system. The calculator at left is designed to provide an estimate of your annual savings. Your actual savings will vary and will increase as fuel costs go up.

There are other considerations that may enter into your decision as well. If you are currently heating with fuel oil, natural gas, or fuel oil, not only will your savings be greater, but also these burned fuels create a certain amount of soot which eventually gets blown through your ducts and onto your walls, floors, and furniture. There is no soot created with a geothermal heat pump. Also burned fuel systems and non-heat pump electric systems take a lot more moisture out of the air in winter than a heat pump. That excess dryness can have an adverse effect on your furniture and on your health.

Of course the only way you will truly be able to evaluate the benefit and the energy savings you might enjoy with a Geothermal Energy System is to have us give you a free, no-obligation quote.
